How to Type Indian Rupee Symbol ?
On July15th Indian cabinet officially announced Indian Rupee Symbol and currently the symbol is not unicoded, which means it may take some time that symbol to appear on Keyboards, until then you can use below Free and Simple method to type Indian Rupee Symbol on your documents.

First download the Rupee font from here the below attachment
Install it, for windows 7 OS open the font and just click install button, for Windows XP check out here
# After installing, you can open any word document,
select “Rupee” font and click grave acent symbol – ` (the key just
above “tab” button in your keyboard).
# It will display our new rupee symbol.
